Fat Dissolve Injections

Fat Dissolve injections contain deoxycholic acid, an ingredient used to break down fat cells. Deoxycholic acid is a bile acid naturally found in the body that helps digest dietary fat.

In its injectable form, deoxycholic acid disrupts fat-cell membranes in the treated area. The damaged cells are gradually cleared through the body’s natural processes, which can reduce localized fullness over time.

Although commonly called “fat dissolving,” this process does not instantly melt or liquefy fat. Results develop gradually, and more than one treatment may be needed.
